  • Always include them in ‘macro’ or ‘senior’ stuff: planning, strategy, etc.
  • talk about biz goals
  • check in a LOT – to unblock, not to direct
  • let them fuck up a bit
  • talk about where they’re going after & their trajectory: big career stuff
